Who we are
The members of the Richmond Sister Cities Commission are people with a passion for our primary areas of focus: international cultural and educational exchange, everyday citizen diplomacy, and cross-cultural community development. The commissioners are community members from across the nine districts of the city of Richmond, including ex officio representatives of the local organizations facilitating each sister city relationship and a member of Richmond City Council. Each may serve two consecutive 3-year terms. The commission also hosts volunteers who serve on project committees.
